High performance cloud-managed networking. The Open-Mesh MR1750 is a cloud managed, dual band, 1750 Mbps 802.11ac mesh-capable access point that includes hardware watchdog, standard 802.3af POE support and a single Gigabit Ethernet port.
With the ability to support up to 50-100 simultaneous users, this access point is ideal for dense, high-traffic locations such as retail and office spaces, schools, shopping malls and hospitality venues. The MR1750AC is backwards compatible with OM2P and later OM Series devices (requires firmware upgrade), so you can run them on the same network (they'll even mesh). We recommend powering this unit with standard 802.3af PoE. It is also compatible with the 20v international power supply. This access point is not compatible with Open-Mesh passive PoE injectors. The MR1750 802.11a/g/n/ac (802.11g compatible) wireless mesh access point is ideally suited for providing robust internet coverage just about anywhere you need to share a connection. Examples include hotels, apartments, neighborhoods, coffee shops, shopping malls, campgrounds, and marinas.
Dual band Deploy concurrent 2.4GHz + 5GHz networks to let newer phones, tablets and laptops fly while still supporting legacy devices.
High performance The MR1750 is available in a 3x3, 1750 Mbps MIMO configuration for exceptional speed, even over mesh.
Mesh-enabled Mesh technology enables access points to work together to form a self-organizing, self-healing wireless network.
Branded captive portal Custom branded captive portal and splash page options that automatically scale to fit laptops, tablets and smartphones.
Bandwidth management Set upload and download caps on each user and block individual devices ensure there is enough bandwidth available for everyone.
Custom authentication Authenticate users with WPA2 or WPA-Enterprise security; charge for access, use vouchers and connect to your hotel PMS system*.
Secure Built-in firewall prevents users on the public network from seeing each other or your wired network by default.
Multiple SSIDs Multiple SSIDs allow you to broadcast up to four unique networks, some “public” and some “private.”
Outage alerts Automated outage alerts by email if any access point goes down and doesn’t come back up within an hour.
Cloud-managed Includes a license for CloudTrax, Open-Mesh’s cloud-based network controller. No on-site server required.

Standard PoE Support for standard 802.3af PoE to power your access points up to 350 feet away over a single Ethernet cable. Great for PoE switches
Flexible An included wall/ceiling mount, along with an optional outdoor enclosure, make for easy installations indoors and out.
White-labeled White labeled for systems integrators, resellers and IT consultants. No logos or links on boxes or access points.
The MR1750 is backwards compatible with OM2P and most later OM Series devices2 (requires firmware upgrade) and MR600 and later MR Series devices, so you can run them on the same network. We recommend powering this unit with standard 802.3af/at3 PoE. It is also compatible with the 24v universal power supply (add-on option). br />The MR1750 supports higher transmit power than many common access points. While most deployments will use less than 15.4W (802.3af), you may not be able to use high TX power with long cable runs and/or high client density unless your switch supports 802.3at, or up to 20w per port.
This access point is not compatible with Open Mesh passive PoE injectors.
